Probably 13 now 🙂
She has been AMAZING!! We went to bed at about 2am, and we didn’t hear a peep out of her the whole night. She also wasn’t in a pen or crate or anything, she just slept free, on the floor where she wanted to be.
We were all woken at 8.30am by the TV program we’d left on making a really loud noise, so then it was out to the toilet with Pixie and Sasha. Short loop and back home.
Breakfast, some play, lumbering about, and now it looks like it’s time to sleep again!
Pixie has surpassed everything I could have hoped for, and already she is *so* close to playing with Sasha – she really wants to, but is just slightly too nervous still, but I think the first play will be happening very soon 🙂
Sasha is such an amazingly polite puppy. She is very respectful to Pixie, and if Pixie doesn’t respond to her tail wags and maybe a paw wave or two, Sasha will turn away, lie down and sleep or play with a toy. I am amazed.
The cats were released this morning and Sasha was awesome with them. Enzo gave her a hiss initially, but within a few minutes he was lying on his back next to me fast asleep!!
I want to possibly introduce Sasha to Raiden today, but not sure. We’ll certainly be having lots of time where the boys can see and sniff Sasha through a baby gate, but I might go so far as an intro…we’ll see!
So far the absolute worst thing has been lifting Sasha in and out the house…she’s so big, I’m terrified of dropping her! We have some wooden shelves spare from the unit our mice are on, so I might actually try and craft a ramp with them XD
She’s eaten meals from her first puzzle feeder, and she loves Nylabones 🙂
So as a recap for our first night – she settled herself, she slept free in the room and she slept without a peep.
Pixie hasn’t barked or huffed at all, she’s only growled that one time, and the cats are both sleeping on furniture within Sasha’s reach too.
Photos, because duh puppy, and she’s flipping beautiful.
Flooooof 🙂 ❤
