For the first time we took Raiden and Pixie on a BIG walk together today 🙂
Omb Raiden was amaaazing, he did so well bless him.
We kept Pixie in the pupoose all through the village as the main road is closed so there’s more foot traffic than usual, which Raiden is fine with but would terrify Pixie.
We carried her all up past the farm – I could have both dogs hahaha! – and right up to the field where she could walk happily and safely on a longline.
And then it was offlead fun time!
Super secret Raiden AAAATTACK!!!
Can you tell she had fun? 😛
They both needed a bit of carrying on the way back 😉
The funniest thing was on the way back; Raiden was on the ground and Pixie was in the pupoose, where she feels safer. There were some teenagers on the other side of the narrow road (about 15ft away) and Pixie was doing her alarmed-and-scared huffing. This alerted Raiden, who began excited looking about everywhere to see what we were getting excited about, and wagging at everybody and everything hahahaha! He just does not understand that things are scary or why Pixie would be scared XD
Lovely successful walk, look forward to many more with these two!
And now here’s our new furkid, we adopted him today. You knew we couldn’t manage with just Omri as our only rabbit, right?! 😉
This is Brawn, a 6 month old Continental Giant cross who needed a new home. He was an outdoor bun and is now settling into the indoor life..oh, and did I mention he is huuuuuge?? Twice the size of Omri (who is a normal sized rabbit) and easily three times the size of Tristan, who hopped over the rainbow bridge recently.
Pixie is very alarmed by Brawn haha! She was best buds with Tristan and completely ignores Omri because he’s a grump and very independent…but Brawn is new and MASSIVE and Pixie doesn’t know what to think 🙂
He’s currently in a 120cm crate until he settles and the other pets get used to him, then he’ll have a 3x4ft run attached. Here’s his home for now 🙂
(that’s an XL liter tray btw XD)
