Dog walking bag

My new dog walking bag arrived today, and although it’s not as ‘zingy’ as my old one it’s sooo much better.

Old bag on the left, new on the right

It’s huge for starters! It has more pockets and also has meshed side pockets that will hold a small water bottle. Very useful for walking the pups πŸ™‚

Whereas before a lot of my dog walking gear was shoved into the same pocket and difficult to access, now it’s all separated into relevant pockets…I just need to remember what is where!

The top front pocket holds poo bags and hand sanitiser:

Second smaller pocket is the most important of pockets: the TREAT pocket!

The lower pocket closed with a buckle holds the torch.

It holds everything my old bag did and more!

The main pocket is humongous! It’s currently holding two spare leads (one is a longline), two spare collars and two spare harnesses. And there’s still room for a bottle of water or a few toys!

And the back pocket has our emergency gear in…a nylon muzzle, laces to be used as a muzzle, baby socks to be used as bandages etc. It’s awesome ^__^

Zoey seems to approve too…

Or maybe she’s just looking smug because they had some corned beef for dinner πŸ˜‰

Hmm, meaty!

  1. Those lucky dogs! Those food bowls look like dog heaven.

I thought I was the only one with a “dog walking bag…. πŸ˜‰ Yours looks deluxe. Mine is considerable smaller but I have a canteen as well.

    • Thanks! The local supermarket always reduces meat from their deli counter in the evening, so we always pick some up for the pups when we’re there at the right time πŸ™‚

Haha nope, I find having a dog walking bag very useful! I need to keep a small bottle or find a canteen to put in the bag, although it’s not so urgent now in the Autumn seeing as it rains almost all day, every day πŸ˜›
