Girly girl

I’ve always been a total tomboy…always hated the colour pink…

Well, that totally changed when Zoey came into our lives πŸ™‚

Her very first harness was pink

And since that first pink harness she has had numerous pink collars…

I have no idea how this has happened…I don’t know why almost everything Zoey wears must be feminine and cute and girly…it just does πŸ˜›

We had a lovely walk today, Zoey really stood out in her new harness.

We did witness a dog fight in the forest; one of the dogs’ owners was nowhere to be seen (but we could hear him yelling for the dog) and the other owner, amazingly, just stood by the side of the fray and blew repeatedly on a whistle!! We quickly turned around and got Zoey away from the dogs and followed an entirely different trail…

At one point I wanted to get a photo of Zoey walking…well, as soon as she heard the noise of the camera starting up, this happened πŸ˜›

Such a poser!

Β I love my little girly girl ^__^

    • Haha I hadn’t noticed how well her harness goes with her mouth / nose! She does look amazing in pink πŸ™‚

Someone originally bought Zoey to breed with their other Staffie, but the dog kept attacking her. The guy then left her to live outside, with no shelter, in the middle of winter…she was 8 weeks old at the time.

A neighbour, who is a friend of ours, asked if we would take the pup and rehome her when Zoey was about 10 weeks old. We said yes but…kinda fell in love and ended up keeping her! πŸ˜€

      • Thank you very much πŸ™‚

As well as the pups we have a group of guinea pigs, a Syrian hamster, three mice and a budgie…most of them are rescues, and all of them are adorable!! ^__^
